A new release is coming out soon!

Hi guys, I know it’s been more than a week since you last heard from us but we’ve been really busy lately.

Anyway, we’re taking a break from the Sonic games due to the problems described in the latest post and the next game is a much appreciated one that some of you may remember as it involves the most famous mouse of the world.

Hold on tight, it will be out in a couple of days as we’re fixing the latest bits around… stay tuned!

The greatest all-time classic soundtrack is released!

Dear fellows, I’m both honored and pleased to announce that the original Sonic The Hedgehog soundtrack is out!!!
With this we almost have completed the Sonic Saga, with only Sonic Spinball out.

Unluckily, due to this game not having a proper Sound Test mode, we will have to postpone its release because as of now we don’t have the means to properly rip it and assure the maximum quality that you guys would expect from one of our releases, but we’re working real hard on it, trust me: we’re getting all the equipment necessary which is rather costly and is coming from the opposite side of the world and thus it will take almost a month for us to get it and set it up, maybe more, no guarantees on it.

Despite this, we will not just stay here doing nothing, we will be releasing other games’ soundtrack meanwhile, although we will have to put all the requests in standby as we are acquiring the new stuff to do proper rips of all those games that don’t have a Sound Test mode.

The “hard way” described in The Equipment page resulted in a lot of effort and a great failure for us all as it is not a viable, efficient way of ripping music, so we are working towards a new, better way.

Anyway, I’d like to thank you all for following us and I hope that in the future, when we will have things going at full rate, your patience will be rewarded. We are getting lots of downloads and youtube views but still the forums are empty and I would be really, really happy if someone registered just to say “Hi” or “Thank you for all the hard work” or even better give us some feedback.

Well, enough with that, head straight to our Media page and get this all-time classic!

Big things ahead!

Hi everyone, we have something really, really big in the works.

And no, it’s not a new release, but something that may change this project (in something better, of course) and make our work easier, make the releases come out faster at a steadier rate and, above all, further improve the quality of our releases.

This means that the releases will be postponed by some days but, believe me, the waiting will definitely be well worth. :]

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Soundtrack released!

Another one out, two to go!

This soundtrack is mind blowing, I admit that I’ve never listened to the 2 Player zones’ music but now I’ve fallen in love with the Endless Mine tune.

You can check it out at our Media page, or listen to it in our Youtube channel as well!

As you can see, we are accelerating the process as much as possible, we are really near to the completion of the Sonic saga rips.
I’ll be talking about the project in lots of forums and communities so we can get ours and have some serious feedback. You’re more than welcome to do so too and help us spreading out the word!

As always, stay tuned! :]

A little update on the recording software

Sorry guys, if someone hoped that this post was about the new release I’m afraid to tell you this is not, though we will be putting it out in a few days.

One of the culprits of this little delay is that I’ve changed many things in the recording software, I’ve automatized more or less everything and I’m using better tools that give an even superior sound quality, especially on the CD and MP3 formats.

We are now proudly using SoX to resample our HD tracks to CD and ffmpeg with the latest LAME library to convert them to MP3.
From the next release you should be hearing little improvements on the aforementioned formats sound quality wise.

You can read more details about it and the Megascript in our Equipment page.

Anyway, don’t go anywhere, our next release will be out real soon!
